सोनीपत/जीजेडी न्यूज: विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार ने कहा कि देश के लोकप्रिय नेता, पूर्व प्रधानमंत्री ‘भारत रत्न’ स्वर्गीय राजीव गांधी एक आधुनिक भारत की नींव रखी और आधुनिकता की छाप छोड़ी थी। ऐसे महापुरुष को कोटि कोटि नमन करते हैं। विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार ने कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ सेक्टर-15 स्थित अपने कैंप कार्यालय में स्वर्गीय राजीव गांधी जी की पुण्यतिथि को सदभावना दिवस के रूप में मनाते हुए श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की।
विधायक सुरेंद्र पंवार ने कहा कि भारत रत्न राजीव गांधी जी को सूचना प्रौद्योगिकी और दूरसंचार क्रांति के जनक के रूप में जाना जाता है। उन्हें डिजिटल इंडिया के वास्तुकार के रूप में भी भारतवर्ष के लोग कभी नहीं भुला सकते। उन्होंने अपने कार्यकाल के दौरान युवाओं को सशक्त बनाने के उद्देश्य से 1989 में संविधान का 61 वां संशोधन करके अधिनियम पारित किया था, जिसके तहत मतदान की आयु 21 वर्ष से घटाकर 18 वर्ष की गई थी । जमीनी स्तर पर लोकतंत्र को मजबूत करने के लिए पंचायती राज संस्थाओं का श्रेय राजीव गांधी जी को जाता है। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत रत्न राजीव गांधी को सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि तभी होगी जब हम उनके दिखाए मार्ग पर चलकर उनके सपनों को साकार करेंगे। आज युवाओं को उनके दिखाए मार्ग पर चलने की जरूरत है।
